K’s mom had a plan for this photo shoot. she wanted to capture the milestone smile of her little girl. Although I was super excited to have been asked…..I couldn’t help but feel a little sad. I was sad because WHY hadn’t I thought of this when my daughter was missing her front teeth? That’s what I love about this job, I get inspiration and ideas for others and look what happens when the mommy’s know what they want to capture…..Much love for these photos.
I cannot tell you how super excited I am every time T calls me to take pictures of her children. I was so excited when she thought of me when it came to taking a portrait of her entire immediate family. On this particular day, it was hot….hot…..hot!!!! I was so pleased with how well G and M did throughout this session…..not to mention little miss M who barely made a peep throughout the entire session. I cannot wait to be the one to help capture milestones as these little ones grow.
You know, my own mother once shared with me that parenting was amazing but that being a grandparent was something special…something that brings a certain joy to your life. A joy that she can’t quite explain other than by saying it’s amazing! I saw that today in the this family. These grandparents were absolutely amazing! I could tell just how proud they were of each and every one of their little ones. I cannot wait to hear what they thought about the pictures.
This family was so cute! The children were absolutely perfect despite temps in the 90’s with STL humidity:( We were obviously not planning on full sun and temps well into the 90’s but we made it work and I think the pictures turned out quite well if I do say so myself.
Having never been to the City Museum in St. Louis, I was super excited that this couple chose this location for their engagement pictures. I was amazed at the structures within this building. I know B and S were probably DONE with me by the end of the session. I must have said “one more, just one more” at least a dozen times. I couldn’t help myself everytime I turned the corner there was something new to try out. I loved working with S & B and cannot wait until their October wedding.
They were not at all prepared for this picture and neither was I as you can see my light coming in from the right side however, I couldn’t help but taking the picture. I loved how deep in thought they both were. Could they be any more perfect? I LOVE this couple.
